Toy Donations

Thank you for your interest in making an in-kind gift to our patients. Please see below for our wish list and other options for giving through our in-kind program. Donated toys must be brand new, unwrapped and free of violent imagery, religious themes and company logos.

Rady Children's Holiday Toy Drive
Wednesday, Dec. 4, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

No appointment necessary; simply pull up to the front of the Hospital during the above timeframe and staff will be present to accept your donation.

How to donate year-round

We are located at 3020 Children's Way, San Diego, CA 92123.

You may drop off items at our donation bin which is located inside of the Rose Pavilion in front of the Gift Shop. If you would like a donation acknowledgement, please see either the staffmember at either the gift shop or the information desk. 

If you are interested in scheduling an appointment to donate an in-kind item or have questions, please contact our office at 858-966-7878 and ask to speak to the in-kind coordinator. 

Due to Hospital safety and infection control policies, Rady Children's is unable to accept handmade, plush or fabric items. This includes stuffed animals, blankets and clothing. Additionally, any handmade donations, including knit or crocheted items and greeting cards, will not be distributed to patients.

Donating online

You may send your toy donations directly to the Hospital by purchasing through our Amazon Wish List. There is also the option to donate online to our Toy Fund with which we purchase additional diversionary items for our patients.
